Kesses MP James Kimaru Bett on Friday donated a CDF Funded 51-seater school bus to AIC Tarakwa High School.
Bett said the bus would be available for use in educational affairs of teachers, school committees in the area.
The bus is hoped to be meaningful for ferrying pupils and students participating in sporting activities and other educations functions in and outside Uasin Gishu County.
The legislator challenged teachers to take advantage of the bus when acquired. He recommended they organize educational trips to historical places for their pupils to learn more about their country.
The MP who was accompanied by Tarakwa Ward administrator Silas Kering told teachers that he would liaise with the national government in addressing challenges facing the education sector in the region.
He urged the teachers, parents and their school children to cooperate in order to achieve better results in national examinations at their respective schools.
