Governor Jackson Mandago has assured Uasin Gishu County residents that nothing will prevent him in anyway from delivering on his campaign promises.
Mandago said his Government will remain focused on development and life improvement.
Governor Mandago was speaking in his office on Monday while celebrating one year since he took office.Mandago said he together with his deputy Daniel Chemno had faced some teething problems including slow pace of establishing new structures for their office, but were now ready to roll out development projects for his county.
He said they had laid ground for real work in 2014.While cutting a cake in his office Mandago added that his administration will focus on key areas of development such as roads, agriculture and health sectors.
He said they would open up all roads, especially in the rural areas, where farmers and other traders would be able to easily move to or from markets.
The office celebration was also attended by County Executives who included Philip Melly(Trade), Maryann Njogu(Environment) and Enock Muigei(Youth and Education).
