Former Governor Aspirant Vesca Kangogo, who lost the Uasin Gishu County Gubernatorial nomination contest on a URP ticket, has made a comeback to public office and will now sit as Vice Chairperson Nairobi County Public Service board.

Nairobi County Governor Dr Evans Kidero appointed the former human resource mogul to sit in the Capitals County government public service board.

Labour Cabinet Secretary Kazungu Kambi had earlier this year appointed Vesca Kangogo and two others to sit at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) board as he sought to constitute a full team.

The three were appointed under Gazette Notice188 dated January 13 for a period of three years. Kangogo, a human resource management expert, who had then been working for the Local Authorities Providence Fund is said to have been picked instead of United Republican Party official Leah Naikinae, who missed on the list as she did not qualify under Section 6 of the NSSF Act.

Kangogo holds a Bachelor of Education Arts degree from Kenyatta University, Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management,MBA in Strategic Management and is also an accomplished CPS(K) holder.
