SOY CONSTITUENCY Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago has hit out at local politician Caleb Kositany for opposing and criticising Soy MP’s development plans for Soy constituency.

Governor Mandago said it was regrettable that Kositany had chosen to engage in retrogressive and divisive politics at the expense of development.

Speaking on Sunday at a church function in Soy Constituency, Mandago termed the Politician an enemy of development and urged him to unite with area MP Edwin Barchilei in order to achieve meaningful development.

“Kositany should stop running around belittling elected leaders and playing petty politics at this era, the time for such politics is over. He should honourably accept he was defeated and wait for 2017,what we want now is unity to help fight poverty and other social ills that has bedeviled our people for long,” said the Governor.

Mandago added that he had visionary and revolutionary ideas that can help transform Uasin Gishu County and said that nothing will prevent him from achieving his development plans.

  1. nonesense..visionery and revolutionery ideas gani? why doesnt the gov stop talking and implement these ideas he says he has..we are still waiting. Mr kositany is well within his rights to critisize barchilei who is an extention of the leadership of UG which in my view scores an F across the board. Mr Barchilei ameongea mara ngapi bunge? how about eusilah ngenyi? or even the MP for moiben constituency sila tiren? ok maybe then oscar sudi ama busienei of turbo? the only official whos seems cut out for his job is samwel chepkonga MP ainabkoi. The bottom line is that we have a bunch of leaders that lack capacity to think critically and provide leadership in moving UG county nd its respective constituency foward. The mediocrity in their quality is a diservice to UG’s hopes and aspirations.
