The report of the County assembly task team appointed to probe perfomance of Uasin Gishu County Executives is set to be tabled in the county assembly when it resumes.

A member of the commitee that interrogated the County Executives revealed that the report will be tabled and debated.

The grilling had caused anxiety and panic among the cabinet members where some were unable to give satisfactory aswers to crucial questions falling under their respective dockets.

The MCAs have been candid saying they will sack county executives who are underperforming.

The executives who were grilled by the MCAs include Enock Muigei (Education, Culture,Youth Affairs and Social Services),Barnabas K Sang (ICT and E-government),Margret Chepkwony (Public Service Management),Philip Matelong(Trade, Industrialisation and Tourism),Gideon Birir (Roads) and Robert Ngisirei (Lands).

Other members of the county executive grilled were Shadrack Kipkiai(Finance), Dr Eunice Siria(Health), Mary Njogu (Environment)and Dr Cyril Cheruiyot (Agriculture).

County secretary Peter Lelei is also set to appear before the panel of County assembly members to give his report card.

Governor Jackson Mandago has in the past come out in support of the vetting exercise saying it would push members of his cabinet to deliver.
