Deputy President William Rutto today attended AIC Church Service at Moi’s Bridge,Soy Constituency for prayers as he prepares to travel back to the Hague.
During the prayer meeting, Mr Ruto quoted a verse from the Bible, illustrating
triumph over enemies and likened it to the case facing him.
He expressed optimism that he
and President Kenyatta would be
acquitted, saying they know they are innocent.
A host of local politicians and friends
thronged the church service to join to Mr
Ruto in prayers. They included Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago and Senator Isaac Melly.
Others were MP’s, Edwin Barchilei,Elisha Busienei,Silas Tiren,Oscar Sudy,James Bett and Chairman Kalenjin council of elders Maj(Rtd) John Seii.
A jovial Mr Ruto, exuded confidence they will triumph the Hague cases. Ruto had returned to the country last week a day after his trial was adjourned concerning the Westgate Mall Terror attack.
