Hon David Koros quits active politics

Former Eldoret South MP Hon David Kiptanui Koros has quit active politics
but said he will campaign for Cord’s Presidential Candidate
Prime Minister Raila Odinga in North Rift.

The immediate former
Kesses Parliamentary Aspirant announced his
decision on Wednesday, a few days
after URP nominations where he lost amid claims of rigging by the flagbearer James Kimaru Bett.

Koros came a strong second as he
battled it out with among others immediate former
Eldoret South MP Peris Simam.

Koros has served in the
National Assembly of Kenya as Member of Parliament for one term.

Being Raila’s ally, this may have contributed to his loss in URP primaries.
